KBS to host 2025 British Academy of Management Conference

Kent Business School has been successful in its bid to host the 2025 British Academy of Management (BAM) annual conference, which will start on Friday 29 August 2025.

Entitled: “On the Border: Management Challenges, Business Opportunities and Disrupted Institutional Contexts”, the event will feature 1000 paper submissions and will be co-chaired by Professor Patricia Lewis and Professor Thanos Papadopoulos.

Professor Lewis remarks: ‘It is a great honour to welcome the British Academy of Management to Kent Business School in 2025.

‘The British Academy of Management is the leading authority in the academic field of management in the UK. It is the second largest academy of management in the world after the Academy of Management (USA) and has over 2000 members from the UK and around the world, including management researchers, practitioners and doctoral students.

‘As a research-intensive business school, KBS is delighted to host the BAM conference and to provide a forum for business leaders, management scholars and policy makers to come together.

‘Our theme of ‘borders’ places one of the most important challenges countries and businesses face at the centre of the event.’
