Student Ambassador, Rahul: the campus is very lively, the location is amazing!

Spotlight on our Student Ambassador, Rahul Pathak

Rahul is studying a Master’s in Business Analytics and is one of our fabulous Student Ambassadors. Read about his experience of studying at Kent Business School.

What surprised you the most about studying at Kent Business School?

The things which surprised me were the wide set of diverse cultures, and the views from different people. I have also enjoyed the practical approach in the curriculum which meets industry standards. KBS trains you to be a complete personality by value adding to your soft skills and making you a future leader.

What do you love the most about studying MSc in Business Analytics?

The top-notch professors and the rich knowledge I am gaining here in the university is something I am appreciating the most. I also love the campus, as it is very lively, the location is amazing!

Tell us about your social life at Kent 

My social life is much more than just studying. I participate in multiple activities and events taking place in the University. I also love to make new connections, I keep on meeting new people and building diverse connections through the various events organised at the University. The best part about the University is the support towards diverse cultures. This helps a lot to socialise with people all over the globe.

Is there anything you wished you had known before you started at Kent Business School that could have helped you prepare?

Nothing as such, due to the end to end support by the University throughout the process, there isn’t anything that I didn’t know about. The University had additionally conducted global events to give detailed information about all the facilities available for the students at the University of Kent.

Where do you want your degree and experience to take you after you graduate?

As my degree is a blend of tech and business, I will be able to apply all the skills I have acquired at KBS at industry level. I’m looking forward to being an industry professional as a Business Analyst. The skills learnt bridge the gap between academia and industry, and it will certainly help me become a specialist in my domain.
