KBS Awarded British Council’s INTERLINKS funding in Kazakhstan

Kent Business School has been awarded British Council’s INTERLINKS funding in Kazakhstan. The £10k fund will assist in furthering Kent Business School’s global knowledge exchange ambitions and plans to make ASPIRE a global plan.

KBS’ Professor Ben Lowe, Dr Dinara Davlembayeya and External Engagement Manager Rebecca Smith have been working on the ASPIRE global plan in conjunction with KAZGUU International School of Economics (Kazakhstan) and SDU Business School (Kazakhstan).

Professor Lowe says: “We are delighted to be collaborating with colleagues at KAZGUU International School of Economics (Kazakhstan) and SDU Business School (Kazakhstan) on this British Council funded INTERLINKS project.

“The project will scope the potential for developing an ASPIRE (Accelerator Space for Innovation and Responsible Enterprise) type hub for the development of entrepreneurial skills in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan has a vibrant and dynamic economy with great potential for entrepreneurship to drive growth and we are very excited to work with our partners in Kazakhstan on this project.”

Kent Business Schol has ASPIRE labs at Medway and Canterbury offer a unique and exciting entrepreneurial education.
