Said Salhi, Emeritus Professor in Operational Research and Management Science at Kent Business School has co-edited the Palgrave Handbook of Operations Research (July 2022). Professor John Boylan, of Lancaster University, is co-editor.
Said is currently joint Editor in Chief for the Journal of the Operational Research Society (JORS) and worked for the Business School for 17 years, retiring in 2021. He has published over 120 papers excluding book chapters and proceedings, authored a book on heuristic search in 2017, and edited various books on his research interests over the course of his career.

Professor Said Salhi is Emeritus Professor in Operational Research and Management Science at KBS. His research centres on Heuristic Optimisation with a focus on routing and location including green aspects of logistic research.
