Debbie Kemp, Director of Kent Business School’s MBA Programme, has been awarded a coveted University of Kent Teaching Excellence Award.
The Awards take place yearly to recognise outstanding members of the teaching community within the University of Kent. Three members of staff were awarded prizes this year.
The panel commented: “We were very impressed with the extensive and wide-ranging body of work that integrates well to enhance education and student experience.
There was evidence of multiple innovations and going above and beyond to secure a prestigious accreditation. The applicant clearly demonstrated innovation within and beyond their role and has begun to demonstrate influence beyond their role.
The applicant has clearly gone above and beyond and this kind of innovation and effort warrants winning the University Teaching Prize this year”.
Each year, the University awards a number of prizes to individual staff or teams for outstanding work in teaching and/or learning support.
