Join our Latest Diversity and Inclusion in Leadership MBA Guest Lecture

Our exciting MBA Guest Lecture Series continues on Friday 11 March 2022, covering the important topics of diversity and inclusion with a focus on women in leadership.

The free event, hosted by MBA Course Director, Debbie Kemp, will run from 12.30pm until 14.00 on Zoom and will include panel discussions, insightful guest speakers and time for breakout sessions and Q&A.

Guest speakers at the event include:

Mrs Olu Olabode 

Olu (pictured above in the main image) is a Commercial Director for CPS M25 Network at Balfour Beatty. with over 20 years experience, currently working for Connect Plus Services (CPS – a Joint Venture) M25, employed by Balfour Beatty Plc within their Highways Business. 

Olu became Commercial Director of CPS in 2017. CPS is the operation behind the M25, one of the busiest and most significant roads in Europe. She is the first female Commercial Director within her sector, commercially responsible for the multimillion turnover Business, successfully leading and delivering through a team of over 40 commercial staff.  

 Ben Sherreard

Ben is Programme Manager at Kent County Council leading the Corporate and Rapid Response team. His early career was in politics and political communications working in Houses of Parliament and Legoland. Ben was the youngest ever elected Councillor on Maidstone Borough Council, serving as a Committee Chair for two years and a Cabinet Member for one before he helped start a successful political communications company. A career change in 2018 led him to KCC where he leads a team of Project Managers delivering capital construction projects to build and expand schools in Kent. Regardless of what the work is, what motivates Ben above anything else is the chance to build and be a part of an effective and supportive team.

Dr Fauzia Idrees

Dr Idrees is an Electronics engineer with her PhD in Information security Engineering and a Master’s in Information Security and Cryptology. She is the first female PhD of Pakistan’s Armed Forces. She has over 24 years of work experience in the Military, industry, and academia and holds the post of Chief Executive Officer of her Cybersecurity venture: Cynosure Technologies. Fauzia is the founding president of Women in STEM (WiSTEM) – a global professional network of women in STEM and Cybersecurity.
