George Saridakis Appointed Eminent Visiting Professor at Universiti Brunei Darussalam

Kent Business School’s Head of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business, Professor George Saridakis, has been appointed Eminent Visiting Professor at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam School of Business and Economics (UBDSBE).

As one of the first faculties created during the establishment of Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 1986, the Business and Economiucs Faculty collaborates closely with regional and international universities through research partnerships and networks, publications, faculty/student exchanges, academic workshops/seminars, and global engagement.

The collaboration between the two institutions will create opportunities for knowledge exchange and transfer with Professor Saridakis sharing his expertise on entrepreneurship, small business and applied research with staff and students from UBD.

Prof. Saridakis says: “It has been a great honour to be appointed as an Eminent Visiting Professor at the UBD. The opportunities that emerge from this appointment strengthen the importance of collaboration in promoting and enhancing academic knowledge beyond boarders. I look forward to this fruitful collaboration.”

Professor Saridakis is leading as Head of the Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business (MEIB). He is also a Visiting Professor at Aston University School of Business and Social Sciences in the UK and Honorary Professor at SALISES, the University of the West Indies. He holds a PhD in Economic from Essex University.
