Are you Ready for our Virtual Gender, Work and Organization Conference?

Karen Lee Ashcraft, Nick Rumens, Stella Nkomo and David Knights are amongst those on the panel for the GWO Conference this year.

Launched in 1994, Gender, Work & Organization was the first journal to provide an arena dedicated to debate and analysis of gender relations, the organisation of gender and the gendering of organisations. The Gender, Work & Organization conference provides an international forum for debate and analysis of contemporary debates affecting gender studies.

The GWO conference was originally scheduled to take place in June 2020 in conventional face-to-face mode but due to the Covid-19 pandemic we had to cancel the event.

The Gender, Work & Organisation 11th biennial international interdisciplinary conference is now a virtual event, a ‘first’ for Gender, Work & Organization. It is run by Kent Business School on 30 June – 2 July 2021. The Conference is organised by the University of Kent’s Professor Patricia Lewis, Professor Ruth Simpson of Brunel University London and Dr Olimpia Burchiellaro of University of Westminster.
