BSc and MSc International Business Programmes Receive IOE&IT Accreditation

Our BSc (Hons) International Business and MSc International Business and Management programmes have been accredited by the Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE&IT).

Kevin Shakespeare, Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the IOE&IT explained how “skills and knowledge in international trade matter more than ever with the UK set to become an independent trading nation in a post-Covid world. Credible training in this vital area is therefore of the highest importance.”

He continued, “our accreditation is a recognisable mark of quality, and we are glad to accredit Kent Business School’s BSc (Hons) International Business & MSc International Business and Management courses.”

Dr Umair Choksy, Director of Studies for the BSC International Business programme explained how the accreditation by the IOE&IT “demonstrates that our BSc IB programme prepares future leaders who understand the dynamics and complexity associated with international trade. Partnership with IOE&IT will further deepen our student’s knowledge of exporting and international trade including the international marketing of trade, finance of international trade, international physical distribution, international logistics and global supply chain management among others. By upholding the excellent academic standards of IOE&IT, our graduates will be able to learn how to identify the changes in the external environment and adapt decision-making.”

The IOE&IT is a professional membership body representing and supporting the interests of everyone in the domain of international trade. Therefore, this new accreditation demonstrates that our MSc IBM is an industry-accredited programme, which meets the high standards of education and good practice set by the IOE&IT.
