Google is bringing its Google Digital Garage to the University of Kent on Wednesday 29 January with free advice and coaching on digital skills.
With an hour workshop on Writing for Social Media, you will learn to create compelling content and develop the right tone of voice on social media platforms.
The workshop is aimed at start-up businesses and aspiring social media marketers. It will cover writing techniques for when space is limited online and how to respond to customer comments and complaints on social media.
You will learn how to:
- Define your brand on social media
- Write for social media
- Use tools for content marketing.
The workshop is part of the Business Start-Up Journey, but open to any students or staff interested in finding out more about writing for social media.
The Google Digital Garage is one of Google’s flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can come and learn free digital skills through a range of courses or 1:1 sessions.
