On Monday 11 February, 2019, MSc Management students from Kent Business School visited Brussels on the Annual European Study Tour.
The trip began at Ebbsfleet International Station where the group took the Eurostar to Brussels. The week was filled with highly interactive sessions on leadership, European policies and practices, business strategies and development in a European environment.
After a visit to the European Parliament, the students participated in a workshop on the Scenario Exploration Sytsem, a foresight serious game which ABIS develop with the European Commission Joint Research Centre led by Mr Marco Matrisciano.
Other sessions also provided an opportunity to interact with academic and industry colleagues including:
- Mr Laurent Bontoux – Policy Advisor of the Commission
- Mr Ivo Master – ABIS’s CEO and President of the GISMA Business School.
Visits to our Brussels campus and the Grand Palace (Grote Markt) were also involved.
MSc Management student Maudlynna Osarumen said the “most enjoyable part of the trip was learning from the experts, being able to unwind and socialise over meals with my class”
