Academic Staff Awarded Senior Fellowship of HEA

Over the last few months a number of Kent Business School (KBS) academic staff have been awarded Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA)

The SFHEA is awarded to individuals who demonstrate a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education.

We would like to congratulate the following on their successful application to become fellows of the HEA:

Dr Alison Dean, Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management, KBS & Associate Dean Education, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Professor Desmond Doran, Professor of Practice in Management

Dr Catherine Robinson, Director of Graduate Studies (Taught)

Dr Robinson, commented “The Senior Fellowship was a great experience. It offered me space to think about just how much teaching leadership I’d been involved with and how much I’ve changed and developed. The certification itself means I have personal validation of all that effort but also it gives me confidence to go for more senior roles in education and teaching. I thoroughly recommend it.”
