New MBA Scholarships - Receive up to 50% off your tuition fees

The Kent MBA is Kent Business School’s flagship executive programme and we’re excited to be launching our new MBA Scholarships offering up to 50% off your tuition fees. Based at the brand new Sibson Building at the Canterbury Campus, Kent Business School can offer you a premium learning experience in dedicated Executive facilities. If you are looking to accelerate your career, The Kent MBA could be the right choice for you and your organisation.

Why an Executive MBA?

Kent Business School‘s AMBA-accredited MBA programme aims to develop responsible business leaders, who can embed sustainable management practices. The Kent MBA seeks to provide career development opportunities for those with management experience and enhances business knowledge and understanding as well as professional competence.

The Kent MBA combines rigorous business theory with practical application, using:

• A case study-based teaching method
• A European study tour
• Consultancy Week – an opportunity to work with businesses live on consulting projects
• Internships with high-profile, multinational corporations.

On completion of your MBA you will gain the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. Modules of study include Leadership and Change, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management, Accounting and Financial Management and Models for Decision Making.

The programme can be studied full-time, but many prefer the Executive MBA, studying part-time to fit their studies around their career, over two or three years.juliet-osuohia-mba

“I chose Kent Business School because it is internationally recognised and has a high rating for student satisfaction in the UK. I am particularly keen on the modules of study and the flexibility of the part-time course, which enables me to continue working whilst studying.” – Juliet Osuohia,  MBA 2016/17

Why should you study part-time?

There are many benefits of studying part-time:

  • You may study whilst earning a wage.
  • You may apply your learning directly to your professional role.
  • You may avoid taking a career break.
  • You may avoid having relocate for your studies.
  • It may help you to spread the cost of tuition fees.
  • Your employer may agree to contribute to your tuition fees.

How could this fit around your job?

The part-time curriculum is highly flexible and Kent Business School would be glad to shape the timetable according to your needs. It will depend on whether you choose to study on the two or three-year programme as to how frequently you will be required to travel to campus. As a guide, part-time MBA students are expected to complete around five modules per year. A single module is delivered on-campus in a one-week period. You should expect to be on campus from 9:00 – 5.00pm on these days. To supplement these core modules, additional content is delivered in various occasional workshops throughout the academic year.

If you are looking to approach your employer regarding sponsorship or fitting your studies around your job, we welcome both potential students and employers visit us at one of the MBA Briefings to discuss the advantages to both parties.
