KBS to host ESRC funded seminar on Gendered Inclusion in Contemporary Organisations

As part of an ESRC funded seminar series, Kent Business School will host the second session in March on Theorising Gendered Inclusion: Contemporary Gender Roles, Identities and Expectations at Work.

The seminar will be held on 9 March 2016 from 9:30am to 4:30pm at Kent Business School, Canterbury. Leading speakers will explore feminine and masculine organisational subjectivities which form the basis of inclusion in contemporary organisations.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Rosalind Gill (School of Arts and Social Sciences, City University, UK)
  • Professor Elisabeth Kelan (Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University, UK)
  • Dr Shelley Budgeon (Dept. of Political Science, University of Birmingham, UK)
  • Dr Marieke van den Brink (Dept. of Business Administration, Radboud University, The Netherlands)
  • Professor Nick Rumens, (Portsmouth Business School, University of Portsmouth, UK)
  • Ms Rachel O’Neill (Dept. of Culture, Media & Creative Industries, King’s College London, UK)

The ESRC funded seminar series is jointly organised by academics from four different institutions including Dr Patricia Lewis, Reader in Management at Kent Business School.

The seminar is complimentary with lunch and refreshments provided. A limited number of travel bursaries are available for early career scholars and PhD students.
