Kent Business School recently welcomed the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the UK’s independent professional body for logistics, supply chains and transport. As the professional accreditor of our MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme, CILT presented the benefits of membership to our students.
Over twenty attendees came to hear Mr Ian Tough, CILT Regional Officer for London and South East discuss how CILT membership and accreditation can deliver significant benefits to students in terms of career prospects. As Dr Niaz Wassan, Director of Studies for MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme explains:
‘Students and staff gained information about various activities organised by CILT and benefits of membership; these included access to its Knowledge Centre, continuing professional development (CPD), careers service, networking opportunities and much more.”
