KBS Academics Debate the Characteristics of Success on Business Bunker Radio Show

KBS’ Centre for Employment, Competitiveness and Growth (ECG) has formed a partnership with the Business Bunker of Channel Radio to broadcast 12 live shows that will explore the characteristics of sustainable success for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in 2015.

Dr Simon Raby and Toby Lindsay of ECG will be joined by academics, practitioners and business owners for an exclusive series of interactive debates that consider, amongst other questions:

  • what defines success, personally and organisationally?
  • what does growth mean to you, your business?
  • what drives growth?
  • what are the things that get in the way of you achieving your aspirations for growth?

Dr Raby and Mr Lindsay will be exploring the Business Improvement and Growth (BIG) ten characteristics of success during the interactive series of debates. These characteristics will enable ambitious business owner-managers to challenge and reflect on their approach to improving and growing their organisations.

As Paul Andrews, Presenter and Producer of The BIG Bunker Show commented:

“The Business Bunker Show is excited by the partnership with the University of Kent’s Business School. The BIG Ten and how it is applied is of enormous interest and assistance to our listening audience who are almost all SMEs; whether at a start-up or more established growth stage. We are looking forward to the interviews and broadcasting this very valuable content”

The Business Bunker Radio Show is broadcast every Tuesday at 2pm, and a half an hour slot focusing on the characteristics of success will be broadcast once a month from March 2015.
