Kent Business School initiates further collaboration with universities in China

Following Professor Roman Matousek’s recent visit to Fudan University and Anhui University of Finance and Economics in China, Kent Business School is hopeful for greater integration and collaboration with these Institutions in the future. 

From 9 – 14 May, Professor Roman Matousek represented Kent Business School on a visit to Fudan University and Anhui University of Finance and Economics in China.

Professor Matousek was invited by Dr Zhong Xiang Zhang, Distinguished University Professor and Chairman of the Department of Public Economics, to present his research on the Global Financial Crisis and its impact on emerging economies. Fudan University in Shanghai is a leading Chinese university and consistently ranked amongst the top 3 universities in China. The School of Management is also renowned for being an international business school.

Professor Matousek discussed further research opportunities with the institutions as well as the possibility of student exchange programmes in partnership with Kent Business School. Fudan University and Anhui University of Finance and Economics have expressed their interest to launch closer collaboration which could commence as early as 2015/2016.
