Four PhD students from the Centre for Logistics & Heuristic Optimisation will be presenting their work at the European Conference on Operational Research held in Rome from 1st to 4th July. The students giving presentations are Abdallah Elsaikh, Ifelere Baale, Stefano Starita and Chandra Ade Irawan. In preparation for the conference, a PhD seminar chaired by Prof Said Salhi was held at KBS this week in which the students each presented their conference papers.
Prof Said Salhi is the stream organiser of the stream Heuristic/exact methods which covered 4 sessions.
The Centre for Logistics & Heuristic Optimisation will have three extra talks at the above conference by its members, and will also be represented at the Metaheuristics International Conference (MIC 2013), which will be held at the Singapore Management University in August.
