Student Marketing Assistant

To assist the Marketing Manager with Company marketing activities. To provide booking and advice to customers (both on telephone and face to face).

Undertaking marketing activities including design of marketing material, customer mailings, market research, coordination of online/offline campaigns.

Responding to requests for brochures or other marketing material.

Maintaining the library of tourist and venue information.

Answering telephone and face to face enquiries from members of the public.

Taking bookings and enquiries entering them into the T2 or PH2 systems as appropriate.

Processing payments received. These may be made by debit/credit card, cheque or in some cases in cash.

Adhoc duties as required.

Personable with a confident manner both face to face and on the telephone.

Competency in design software and producing marketing material. – Microsoft Publisher

Good communication skills

Numerate and literate

Good computer literacy – particularly Excel, Word, T2 and PH2 business systems.

Good attention to detail

Some knowledge and interest in travel and the travel business is desirable.

Flexible attitude to work and able to extend hours to cover holidays and sickness as necessary.

Full training on the use of our business system will be given.

Familiarisation of Buzzlines products and services.

Full time 5 days per week. A 6 week rota is worked to cover our Bybrook Barn outlet 7 days per week and Saturday mornings at Lympne. Working hours may include bank holidays. You may be asked to do additional weekend working for which time off in lieu will be given.

Holidays : 20 days per annum plus bank and public holidays.

Monthly paid by BACS on 7^th of each month.
