A placement opportunity exists for a hard working, clear-thinking individual to work as part of the project team on a new major International project with Bosch Lawn and Garden.
Your responsibilities:
As a Project Management student, you will be responsible for managing minor projects and assisting the department in business Road Map projects through to Production.
You will:
- Gain experience using the TTM (Time To Market) process, capacity planning, QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis)
- Managing minor projects with a team of cross functional associates.
- Supporting the Project Managers through all stages of the “Product Development Process”.
- Providing support in the preparation and running of project meetings.
- Following up on project milestone documentation.
- Involvement in the business capacity planning process.
- Purchasing Support & SAP activities
Your profile:
- You will be undertaking higher education in a course involving the business of product development and manufacturing. I.e. Project Management, Engineering,
- You will be able to thrive under pressure, maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines.
- You will possess good time management and organisation skills as well as excellent
- knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good verbal and written English are essential.
- You will be a flexible team player with good communication skills at all levels and be willing to join our team for a minimum of six or up to twelve months – Starting: June 2013
