We are pleased to welcome Dr Moorad Choudhry from The Royal Bank of Scotland as an Honorary Professor at Kent Business School, from October 2012 to October 2015.
Moorad Choudhry is IPO Treasurer, Group Treasury at The Royal Bank of Scotland. He was previously Treasurer at RBS Corporate Banking, Head of Treasury at Europe Arab Bank, Head of Treasury at KBC Financial Products and Vice President in Structured Finance at JPMorgan Chase Bank. He began his City career at the London Stock Exchange in 1989.
Dr Choudhry is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Brunel University and Visiting Teaching Fellow at the Department of Management, Birkbeck, University of London. He is also a Visiting Professor and on the Board of Governors of the ifs-School of Finance.
He is Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Fellow of the ifs-School of Finance and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of American Securitisation and the Journal of Structured Finance.
Dr Choudhry has published numerous articles and 13 books in highly specialised Finance subjects such as Fixed Income, Credit Markets, Structured Finance and Risk Management. During his time at Kent Business School Dr Choudhry will work with students in Master’s of Finance and in MBA and will work collaboratively with academics from the school on research ideas, hot topics for research and journal articles.
