Kent Business School welcomes Reims Management School on their 2012 study tour

On Monday 25th June 2012, Angela Ransley and Dr David Morelli welcomed 18 postgraduate students from Reims Management School (France) on a week-long executive education programme organised by Kent Business School.

This now well-established programme, which runs on an annual basis, offers students a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the study of capital structures and markets. The programme’s added value rests on the practical application of the classroom teaching as well as a highly stimulating visit to Lloyds Bank of London and the London Stock Exchange. The students were fortunate enough to attend a training course and witness first-hand the live closing of the London stock market auction.

“The programme provides students with an in depth understanding of the important issues of corporate capital structure and an opportunity to apply this practically through real case study analysis. The visit to Lloyds Bank of London and the London Stock Exchange really brings to life the dynamic environment and importance of such major financial institutions”
David Morelli, programme co-director

Kent Business School is a keen supporter of such international executive education programmes which support the School’s European development strategy. Furthermore, these programmes offer opportunities for the School’s own students to interact with visiting students in a friendly and relaxed environment, further promoting cultural exchange and awareness.

“The program content was very clear and the aims and objectives were clearly set out – we learnt a lot about corporate capital structures and markets. We also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Kent business school staff and students”.
