Nominations will be opening shortly for Undergraduate Course and School Rep elections for the 2012/13 academic year on Wednesday 28 March!
All Course Rep position that will represent Postgraduate Research students and Undergraduate years two and three next year from Wednesday 28th March will be accepting nominations. This means if you are a first year Undergraduate student you should nominate yourself for a second year position.
For anyone currently on a foundation course year one elections will be taking place in October 2012 for year one Undergraduate Course Rep positions.

By becoming a Course Rep you will be one of approximately 300 students out of the 19,966 students at the University of Kent!
You will not only improve your educational experience you will also gain something extra special for your CV.
The successful candidates will be offered training, will help shape University policy for their course and will also gain important skills which will help you in the increasingly challenging jobs market. For those who are successfully re-elected in Course Rep elections there will be new training and support sessions for you next year.
How to nominate yourself:
To be a course rep you need to nominate yourself via the Kent Union website. You will be able to do this from Wednesday 28th March at 9am with nominations closing on 10th May at 12pm. You can then vote from the 14th May at 9am until the 21st May at 9am. Results for the Course Rep positions will be posted on the Kent Union website on 22nd May.

Nominations are also open for School Rep positions which support course reps within their school and work with their faculty rep to make sure school based successes are championed and that any issues are resolved. Click here to nominate yourself to be a school rep.
