In recent years, I have mainly taught Master’s modules on Financial Risk Management and Financial Economics, as well as the compulsory PhD module on Quantitative Research Methods. All teaching information is available to registered students via Moodle
Business Consulting
I occasionally take up assignments for consulting on behalf of the University. Examples of projects carried out (for a large multinational insurer and a global asset management firm):
- Research survey (on a specific risk premium)
- Model validation
- Assessment of international private capital flows for strategic decision making input
In addition to bespoke consulting assignments, I have also been involved with a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, with ZTP UK Ltd. (an energy management consultancy) on the subject of forecasting and risk management. See a brief report here.
