Triona Fitton is a Research Associate for the Centre for Philanthropy at the University of Kent’s School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research. She writes, teaches and researches many different aspects of philanthropy, charity, volunteering, and gifts.

Her PhD focused upon the contemporary UK charity shop as a case study of the wider professionalisation of charity. She is currently writing a book about the history of philanthropic giving at the University of Kent. You can contact her at: t.fitton@kent.ac.uk
