Agresso Support: January news

Maintenance, training and feedback

Maintenance

We will be performing some essential maintenance on Agresso on THURSDAY 14TH JANUARY 2016, which we hope will fix a number of issues raised by our users. Please refrain from using Agresso until you have received confirmation from us that the work is complete- this should be by 10AM.

Training Workshops

New for 2016 we are piloting Agresso training workshops to gauge interest and collect feedback for possible future sessions. The workshops are as follows:

Introduction to Agresso (“Agresso Training”) is aimed to help you get started with using the fundamentals of Agresso and to become familiar with the screens and toolbars. It is aimed at new users, but is open to all users who feel they would benefit from basic training.

You can book to attend this workshop on either:

  • Thursday 14 January 2016 from 2:30pm until 4:00pm
  • Tuesday 26 January 2016 from 2:30pm until 4:00pm

Browser basics session is aimed for Agresso users who need to extract information from anywhere in Agresso. Starting with a Simple Enquiry, participants will explore the reporting functionality provided by the Agresso Browser. By the end of this training session, participants will be familiar with creating detailed reports, be able to add a report to the private reports folder and share private reports.  The training is aimed for all Department administrators and Finance administrators who have a responsibility for reporting and analysing financial information on behalf of their school/department.

This workshop is being run on Wednesday 20 January 2016 from 10:30am until 12:00

Numbers for each workshop are limited to ten and bookings will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in attending, please book via the Learning and Development website at: http://www.kent.ac.uk/hr-learninganddevelopment/events2015-16.html. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact ldev@kent.ac.uk.
