Some more great news for the School!
Kent PhD student, Gustavo Mellior, has been awarded (jointly with another candidate) the first Peter Sinclair Prize for the best paper at the prestigious MMF PhD conference this year.
This new Peter Sinclair Prize has been set up in memory of the Emeritus Professor at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham and MMF Vice President, who died earlier this year of COVID-19.
Gustavo, who is currently a stipendiary lecturer at Oxford, uses continuous time heterogeneous agent models to assess the distributional and welfare consequences of different higher education funding policies.
