The Good Children          Roopa Farooki (c) Phil Richards

“THE GOOD CHILDREN is a compelling story of discipline and disobedience, punishment and the pursuit of passion, following the children of a game-changing generation and the ties that bind them across cultures, continents and decades. Painful and sweet, tough and surprising, it is a landmark epic of the South Asian immigrant experience.” (Headline Publishing 2014)

Featured on BBC Radio 4’s Open Book

“Farooki’s dazzling mosaic is almost unbearably moving. A great, great novel…life changing.” The Daily Mail

“A fairy tale…Etched with compassion so that we care about their destinies.” The Independent

The book is available on sale via Roopa Farooki’s official website.
