Head of CPP appointed as the new Chairman of BADN Executive Committee

Congratulations to Debbie Reed, the new Chairman of British Association of Dental Nurses Executive Committee.

Debbie is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Centre for Professional Practice at the University of Kent, she remains the academic lead for dentistry, and since joining the University of Kent in 2007 has been instrumental in the design, development, validation and delivery of postgraduate and validated programmes for dental nurses, other DCPs and dentists such as the Foundation Degree in Advanced Dental Nursing, the MSc in Primary Dental Care and the Applied Dental Professional Practice MSc pathway. A Registered Dental Nurse, Debbie is an advocate of lifelong learning, and is currently a doctoral student with the University of Nottingham, having graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA(Hons) in Post Compulsory Education and from the University of Portsmouth’s Business School with an MSc in Human Resource Development.
