The local community and friends of the University are invited to join our students, staff and alumni for an evening of live music, entertainment and spectacular fireworks at our Medway campus as we celebrate the start of the University’s 50th anniversary year.
The event will start at 5pm outside No 1, the Bistro on the ground floor of the Rochester building. There will be entertainment and activities throughout the evening, with a range of food outlets open – you can even try the specially commissioned 50th anniversary Templeman Ale!
Live bands will play songs from the last 5 decades, including covers of many by the famous bands who have performed at the University. At approximately 8pm a fireworks display will light up the sky over the campus bringing the evening to a close.
