On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August, we had the pleasure of welcoming gaming fans to our campus for the Canterbury Gaming Convention.
Organised by Dice and Destiny, a Canterbury-based gaming shop, the convention transformed our Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena into a buzzing gamer’s hub for the weekend.
Attendees had the chance to explore exhibitor stands, try out new and exclusive games, add unique merch to their collections, reminisce at the retro games station, enjoy improvised roleplay performances, and win some fantastic prizes.
The event also featured a packed schedule of tournaments throughout the weekend, from Pokémon and Lorcana to Flesh and Blood and The Witcher, offering something for every type of player.
Our Conferences and Events team worked closely with our catering team to create a custom food menu for the event, alongside a fully licensed bar to keep guests refreshed throughout the weekend.
