This is an introduction to the most useful resources for Modern Languages.

Books & eBooks

The majority of books related to Modern Languages are located in D Block, Floor 1. In this room at the front of the library you will also see a Language Learning display, highlighting textbooks and fiction across the languages.

When searching for titles on LibrarySearch don’t forget to make a note of the location, class mark and loan status.

The library has access to thousands of e-books that you can search for via LibrarySearch using keywords, title or author information. Books can be read online or downloaded, and you will need your Kent credentials to login and read the electronic versions.

Newspapers

We subscribe to a large number of newspapers, both international and from the UK. They are available in a number of formats, including print and online.
