The results of the 2020 Graduate School Prizes have just been announced.
The annual Graduate School Prizes recognise the excellence of Kent’s researchers and the outstanding work carried out by academic and administrative staff members in support of postgraduate research and education. The prizes were first awarded by the Graduate School in 2018.
We are delighted to announce several members of the School of Arts are among this year’s recipients. Alice Helliwell, who is currently studying for a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Art, won one of the five prizes for Best Student. And both Dr Tamar Jeffers McDonald, Head of the School of Arts, and Murray Smith, Professor of Film, were each awarded a Best Supervisor award.
Our congratulations to Alice, Tamar, and Murray.
