Congratulations to Victor Pang, who is currently studying on the BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre, on his winning the Canterbury Festival ‘Made in Kent’ Comedy Competition.
The competition was held at the Anselm Theatre at Canterbury Christ Church University this Tuesday, 29 October 2019. Victor has previously performed stand-up on the module Popular Performance and has also featured at the monthly Funny Rabbit Comedy Club in the Gulbenkian, and, most recently, was on stage with Nish Kumar as part of the No Direction Home comedy show.
Of course, Drama and Theatre at Kent specialises in training stand-up comedians, with the module Stand Up Comedy, thanks to the expertise of Dr Olly Double.
