The School of Arts is pleased to announce the launch of three new joint honours programmes joining the single honours Media Studies BA (Hons) programme
Media Studies is a relatively new subject area at Kent, launched in 2017. The next academic year 2019/2020 will see our first students graduating from the programme.
The new programmes build on the success of Media Studies, combining them with other subjects offered by the School of Arts:
- Art History and Media Studies – BA (Hons) at Canterbury
- Drama and Media Studies – BA (Hons) at Canterbury
- Film and Media Studies – BA (Hons) at Canterbury
Professor Mattias Frey, Head of Film and Media Studies, said: ‘We are delighted to be offering the three new degrees. Media Studies is growth area, and these programmes will offer students the choice to combine the subject with their other passions.’
