Project on Population Ageing, Implications for Asset Values, and Impact for Pension Plans: An International Study

with Doug Andrews, Steve Bonnar, Lori Curtis, Miguel Leon-Ledesma, Kathleen Rybczynski, and Pradip Tapadar

I am part of an international project studying the relationship between demographic structure and asset prices to inform research in the field as well as pension plan policies.

The original project received funding and partnership support from Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and Society of Actuaries (SoA), and University of Waterloo.

Further funding and support has been received from the International Centre for Pensions Management and from the National Pension Hub (Global Risk Institute) for an additional project joint with Alex Maynard.
