Travel advice for WCSA conference delegates

The University of Kent is very easy to travel to and we urge everyone to make use of public transport wherever they are travelling from. Here are some quick tips on travelling to Canterbury campus.

From London by train:
Canterbury has two stations Canterbury East and West. Canterbury West is on the High-Speed line from London St Pancras International, Stratford International and Ebbsfleet International. There is one direct train per hour throughout the day. There is also an hourly train from St. Pancras where you will have to change at Ashford International for a local train to Canterbury West. Direct trains take 55 minutes.

Slower services are available from London Victoria Station.

By coach:
There is a regular National Express coach service from Victoria Coach Station in London. Fares can be as low as £6 but it does take longer (approximately 2 hours). There are frequent services to Canterbury Bus Station, and slightly less frequently direct on to campus right outside the conference venue at Keynes College.
