Brazilian SSES PhD student Arthur Bossi has recently travelled to Norway to spend a three-month ERASMUS+ funded Internship with Dr Bent Ronnestad at Lillehammer University.
During his time in Norway, Arthur will work with a group of elite Norwegian cyclists to collect data for a study that will contribute to his PhD thesis. Arthur will also work with Dr Ronnestad and other sport scientists at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences on several research projects to develop his laboratory skills in various aspects of exercise physiology and sports science. Following his traineeship, Arthur will return to PhD studies at the University of Kent, and look to implement some of his newly developed skills within SSES laboratories. We wish Arthur every success with his studies and look forward to welcoming him back in January.
