As the 2020 Kent Technician Network Symposium is not able to go ahead, Learning and Organisational Development have used their contribution to purchase HEaTED membership for the university for one year.
Higher Education and Technician’s Educational Development (HEaTED) is the UK’s leading provider of professional development and networking opportunities for all disciplines of the technical workforce. Benefits of being HEaTED members include Continuous Professional Development, Facilitation and Advisory Services, Professional Networks and Communications. HEaTED are official resource partners for the Technicians Commitment which Kent are signatories of.
HEaTED are in the process of moving to the University of Sheffield for closer links to the National Technician Development Centre. Their new website will be launched later in summer 2020.
