This evening, there will be two brief periods of network disruption across campus while essential maintenance takes place to fix an ongoing issue affecting the Templeman Library.
When: Today (Mon 6 October) between 6.00pm and 6.30pm
- First disruption at 6.00pm (around 20 seconds)
- Recovery time of 10–15 minutes
- Second disruption at 6.15–6.20pm (around 20 seconds)
What to expect: All wired and wireless network connections across campus will be affected.
- Anything that relies on the University’s internet connection — such as browsing, streaming, gaming, using Moodle, Teams etc. — may be briefly interrupted.
- Some systems may take a few minutes to reconnect afterwards.
- If possible, we recommend avoiding scheduling online meetings, activities or tasks during this time to prevent disruption.
