I gave a research seminar on “Thermodynamic signatures of topological transitions in nodal superconductors” to the Birmingham theory group last Thursday. I had not forgotten, but it was nice being reminded of what a lively and intellectually alert bunch that group are. For those who have never had the experience, let us just say that giving a talk there feels a lot more like having a conversation about your work with the whole front row than delivering a speech to the audience.
