A view of Zhejiang University’s “new campus” in Hangzhou, China.

I recently gave an invited talk at the International Conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems (SCES 2016) at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. Please find my slides below. Note that although the official title of my talk was fairly broad-ranged (“New Broken Time-reversal Symmetry Superconductors: Theoretical Constraints on Pairing States and Mechanisms”) in the end I decided to focus specifically on LaNiC2 and LaNiGa2, two materials which are right now really exciting because of recent experimental and theoretical progress.
