Keep Safe: a CBT based intervention for young people with IDD

Aida Malovic, a joint Tizard-CHSS University of Kent PhD student presented her poster as part of the WCBCT  July 2019 Congress (World Congress of Behavioural and Cognitive  Therapies) in Berlin.

Over 4000 delegates from over 80 countries attended the event.  Aida presented her poster as part of an organised IDD poster theme.  The Keep Safe poster detailed how a group CBT intervention was adapted and modified with the help of an Advisory Group of people from the learning disability community for young people with IDD, who display harmful sexual behaviours.  As part of this project Aida implemented a number of adapted assessments as developed for her PhD.
