‘Collaborative Awards for Teaching Excellence’ shortlisting

We are proud to announce that the Centre for Child Protection has been shortlisted for the ‘Collaborative Awards for Teaching Excellence’ organised and hosted by the Higher Education Academy.  The criteria for the award are excellent practice, teamwork and the dissemination plan.

Our child protection simulations are used to train professionals and young people.  They provide an immersive environment, where learners can take risks safely, discuss and consider issues as they navigate the simulation, and thereby develop their skills. More information on the simulations, and also the MA in advanced child protection that uniquely incorporates the use of the simulations in the programme, is available on the Centre’s website.
