We are delighted to invite you to the launch of ‘A Practical Guide to the Mental Capacity Act‘ on Tuesday 20 October from 4-6pm in G3-04, Gillingham building, Medway campus. Both the authors, Matt Graham and Jakki Cowley, will be in attendance and will be discussing the reasons behind writing the book and guest speakers Alex Ruck Keene, Barrister, writer and mental capacity law expert and Mr E, HL’s carer, in relation to ‘the Bournewood case’ will be offering important insights into the subject.
This will be an exciting opportunity to hear from two highly regarded speakers on the subject of mental capacity as well as hearing from the authors of what is considered to be one of the most clear and welcome publications on the Mental Capacity Act since its inception, we do hope you can join us.
