NSPCC at the University of Kent

Kent kids taught to feel safe

The Centre for Child Protection was contacted to discuss the idea of the University of Kent hosting the NSPCC Childline Schools Service.  This resulted in a number of local primary school children coming along to Woolf College on 7 July 2015 for either a morning or afternoon session to learn how to keep themselves safe.

Meridian TV filmed some of the sessions and it excellently promotes the good work that Jaime, Sarah and Rose and all their volunteers carry out with young children.  See article and link to video: http://www.itv.com/news/meridian/update/2015-07-21/kent-kids-taught-to-feel-safe/
