Direct work with children standalone module

Module duration: 5 May – 20 September 2015
Induction Day: 1 May 2015 at Canterbury
Study Day: 13 July 2015 at Canterbury

The ability to understand children and young people’s experiences is crucial at both the assessment and intervention stage. Simply talking to them is neither sufficient nor effective in itself to fully grasp the ‘intentional state’ of their inner mind. Similarly, using
a range of materials will not automatically open the door for them to express themselves. The design of this module adheres to the Centre’s approach to innovative learning through use of interactive materials and video lectures from experienced professionals in the field, as well as other academically rigorous resources.

Upon successful completion of this module 20 MA credits will be awarded.
Cost: £895 per person.
