Social work degrees endorsed by The College of Social Work

The School’s undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Social Work have been endorsed by The College of Social Work (TCSW) as having met the social work professional quality criteria.

The College of Social Work  acts as the public voice of social work, representing social work and social workers in the media, with government and with employers. The College is the centre of excellence for social work, upholding and strengthening professional standards to the benefit of the public.

The College has worked with colleagues across social work practice and education to develop an endorsement scheme for qualifying social work programmes (QSWPs). The scheme will promote and celebrate high quality education and training, over and above the threshold standards required by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This will be to the benefit of the next generation of social workers, and contribute to improved outcomes for service users and carers.

We are delighted that our programmes have been recognised by this process as delivering the highest standard of education and training.
