‘Imagine Sheppey’ event 8 November

The ‘Imagine Sheppey’ project is about how young people imagine their futures. At the event we will present and invite discussion about some of our research findings and the video we have made which documents the process of imagining the future used in this project.
Working with the artists Tea and a group of young participants, we explored the young people’s images and ideas about the future through improvised performances and activities. You can see photos from our workshops and related posts on our Facebook page. This research builds on earlier work in the Living and Working on Sheppey project which used narrative to explore futures. ‘Imagine Sheppey’ is part of a large AHRC/ESRC Connected Communities research grant called Imagine.

Participation at this event is free but please confirm your attendance via imaginesheppey@kent.ac.uk. We look forward to seeing you there.
