School achieves high ratings in 2015 Guardian Guide

Following excellent positions in the Times university tables 2014, social policy, sociology and social work undergraduate degree courses at the University of Kent  rank highly in the newly published Guardian University Guide 2015.

The independent survey shows that 93.1% of students on sociology programmes and 94.9% of social policy students reported they were satisfied with the overall quality of their course, two of the highest scores in this category.

Social Work at Kent is placed 8th in the tables, scoring highly for quality of teaching and course satisfaction.

Head of School, Professor Sarah Vickerstaff, said “We are delighted to receive this recognition of the strength of teaching and quality of our programmes within the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research.”
